Build AI that ships.
We're a small team that builds real products, runs its own infrastructure, and teaches the next generation to do the same. We hire rarely, but when we do, we look for people who'd rather deploy something useful than write another strategy deck.
Why Work Here
Most "AI jobs" are wrappers around someone else's API. Here you own the whole stack — self-hosted git, custom auth, a fleet of machines, agent orchestration — and you ship to production, not to a slide.
The work is varied by design: clinical computer vision one week, an iOS app the next, a student workshop after that. Small team, real ownership, no layers of process between you and the thing you're building.
What We Look For
Builders. People with a trail of things they've actually shipped — apps, tools, experiments, anything that runs.
Range over titles. Comfort moving across the stack and picking up what a problem needs, rather than guarding a narrow lane.
Teachers. If you can explain it clearly enough to teach a teenager, you understand it well enough to build it well.
Where We Tend to Hire
We don't keep a long list of open requisitions. These are the areas we grow into when we add to the team — reach out if one fits, even if we haven't posted a formal opening.
AI / Full-Stack Engineer
End-to-end product work across our services — auth, portal, agent orchestration, and the AI products that run on top of them.
Computer Vision Engineer
Real-time vision systems like EyeExam AI and drowning detection — model work, pipelines, and getting it reliable in production.
Workshop Instructor / Student Mentor
Teach teens to build AI applications in our Vibe Coding workshops and mentor science-fair projects for LACSEF and Diamond Challenge.
Don't see your role? We're a small team and value range over labels. If you build things that ship, tell us what you've made — we read everything.
How We Work
Ship Over Slide
Working software in production beats a beautiful presentation every time. We measure progress by what's deployed, not what's proposed.
Own the Stack
From metal to model. You'll touch infrastructure, backend, frontend, and AI — and understand how the whole system fits together.
Humans + Agents
You work alongside a fleet of specialized AI agents that handle dev, QA, and ops. Learn to direct them — it's a force multiplier, not a gimmick.
Teach to Learn
Everyone here mentors or teaches at some point. Explaining your work to students sharpens the work itself.
Honest by Default
We say what we actually use, publish real numbers, and tell each other when something isn't working. No theater.
Small & Deliberate
We stay lean on purpose. Fewer people, more ownership, less process between you and the thing you're shipping.
Tell us what you've built.
No formal portal, no cover-letter ritual. Email us with a short note on what you'd want to work on and links to things you've shipped — repos, apps, projects, demos.
